Dr. Ashraf Sheta

Dr. Sheta is the CEO and founder of AS for consultancy and training, he is also working as an adjunct assistant professor for entrepreneurship, management and innovation at the American university.
He is also working as a free-lance trainer and consultant in the fields family business strategic management, innovation, as well as entrepreneurship and small business management. He is the winner of the teaching excellence award for the academic year 2015- 2016.Also certificate of excellence in performance from the AUC executive education for the years 2014,2015,2016 and 2017. He is the winner of the silver award, Stellar Teaching and Activities Recognition (STAR) for the academic year 2019.He is the winner of the European foundation for Management Development award EFMD 2019 for teaching cases in the field of Family business
Dr. Sheta’ practical experience is diversified; he was the GM for Shetatex company for more than 20 years, president Middle East council for small business and entrepreneurship MAKSABY an affiliate of the international council for small business ICSB with strategic agenda of promoting and supporting entrepreneurship and small business in the MENA region till 2014. He was also the vice president of the Egyptian junior business association EJB and was responsible for developing the Egyptian national business agenda.
For the consultancy and training dimension; Dr. Sheta has worked with prominent organizations in the field of training and consultancy; the transparency international, European union, USAID, ILO, international organization of migration Executive Education Executive education at the AUC and Women entrepreneurship and leadership program WEL developed by Wharton school of business and financed by Goldman Sachs.
