Prof. Dr. Raghda El Ebrashi is currently an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the German University in Cairo (GUC) and Head of the Management and Organization Department at the GUC. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 2004 from the AUC, and acquired her Master Degree in Professional Development from the AUC as well in 2006. She acquired her PhD in Strategic Management from the GUC in 2010. Raghda is a consultant and trainer for major Cement companies, Banks, Dairy companies, Agri-businesses, FMCGs and start-ups on strategic management issues related to company restructuring, functional and business integration, value chain partnerships, business model development and analysis, corporate social responsibility, and inclusive business. Raghda is also a consultant for the government in various public projects, and she has served in various national and international assignments. She has led international research projects and published seminal articles in top international journals. Raghda is the Founder and Chairperson of Alashanek ya Balady Association for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD), which is one of the biggest youth NGOs in Egypt. She also served as a board member in the International Youth Foundation in the US from 2010 and till 2013. Raghda received numerous international and national awards including: World Business Magazine (London) International award “35 under 35”; UNDP's (Malaysia) "100 global young social entrepreneurs" award; YouthActionNet Fellowship (US); Synergos fellowship (US); King Abdullah Award for Youth Innovation and Achievement (Jordan); Young Global Leader (YGL) by the Schwab Foundation and the World Economic Forum (Switzerland), and Ashoka Fellowship. Last but not least, she was awarded and recognized by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for her community development efforts in December 2016.
